The Car That Returned from the Trash

Turns out my battery cable connection was loose.  They tightened it.  It’s working now.

A one-two poke

Poke 1:  Eagerly-awaited new computer incoming, being delivered a day early.  Wife at home to accept and sign for package.   Delivery man waits until she is in the shower to deliver my new baby.  Note left that delivery failed, so they’re throwing it in the trash.

Poke 2:  Recently-repaired car used to drive to the park-and-ride train station.  After long day of work, and long train ride to the station, car won’t start.  Second time since repair that battery is dead.  Figured the first was a gimme, as I wasn’t sure if it was my old battery or not.  Obviously, the repair job isn’t perfect, so I’m throwing the car in the trash.
