 Why does life always poke us in the eye?

We created this blog to give us a place to vent, to complain, to point out the oddities of life.  We hope to keep a dose of humor in all our writings.  After all, getting poked in the eye is bitter, yes, but it’s the sweet bitterness of freshly-squeezed lemon juice.  Painful, yes, but the rejuvenating pain of stubbing your toe while rushing to the bathroom for an early-morning priority pee.  Depressing, yes, but… well… actually, I guess it’s just depressing.  Nevertheless, we’ll always try to see the lighter side of things.  That’s just the way we are.
